Our Ethics

At Dear Vera, your story is treated with respect. We are committed to a standard of care that honors your dignity, your privacy, and your right to see your experiences clearly without judgment.

What you share stays private. Your uploads are quietly reviewed, your letter is privately returned, and then your materials are deleted for your protection. We do not retain copies, sell data, or share your story with anyone.

Confidentiality

Vera does not label, diagnose, or tell you what to believe about your experience. We reflect back what your documentation shows — clearly, gently, and without agenda.

Non-Judgement

Respect for Your Story

Every story matters, whether or not it fits a legal definition or a clinical diagnosis. If it matters to you, it matters to Vera.

We do not offer legal advice or therapy. Our role is to quietly reflect and organize the information you share — not to advise, intervene, or pressure you into next steps.

Boundaries

Equity and Access

We believe everyone deserves clarity, regardless of financial situation. Each month, we sponsor a limited number of letters, and additional sponsorships help us reach even more women waiting for their moment of reflection.
